Ghost Walk

Black heart flames
Soaring pain
Mists of sadness
Condescending
Within empty walls
Inside my soul.

Blasts of wanting
Mournful drops
Fury cascades
Ghostly roar
Disturb my house
Drown my mind.

Fearsome spirits
Haunting night trails
To dawn’s enlightenment
With angels’ eyes
Like yellow sunbeams
On soft morning pillows.

    The darkness does obscure
    the lines of reality

Oh, Jo! A darkness darker than night, methinks. So glad the yellow sunbeams greeted us at dawn! Your imagry was all too real :o)
