His Sincere Apologies…

Apologies soar,
postpartum depression blues.
A visit to Brooke,
Good acting. Tom off the hook.
Make sure the cameras roll.

This is a form of poetry I’m trying for the first time for a workshop assignment. It’s called a kyoka, a Japanese form of poetry, meant to be fun like a limerick. Its syllable scheme is 5, 7, 5, 7, 7. Rhyming not necessary.
