Thanks for sharing the article Jo. I read it with much interest. Just like everything else involving us boomers–the graying prison population and their needs will have to be addressed.
There was a case here in NC not too long ago where a middle aged female, in prison for murdering her husbands, needed to have heart surgery and some of the sentiments expressed were to just let her go without it since she was in prison for murder.
